One of the biggest regrets I've ever had was not going to an art school. I wasn't encouraged to and therefore, didn't try to be disobedient.
I've always found other ways to express myself through fine arts, personal projects, drawings my friends in my free time etc. I know I'll never have the techniques or the practice or whatever those art graduates have, but I probably have that same passion and love for art that they do.
So, yes, I'm most familiar with watercolours and graphite, but recently have been experimenting with pen illustrations and the use of acrylic paints.
I walk hand in hand with my tablet and draw for most of my projects.
I'm still trying to discover my style and I'm also open to trying new things for clientel work so-

Editing videos has always been a hobby of mine, and somewhere along the way it became part of my profession. I edit pretty cute and chill vlogs/covers HERE. To see more of my professional film and editing work, click HERE.
During a 6 month long internship, I did a lot of storyboarding for ideas and concepts
Storyboards are fun, I enjoy drawing out ideas to let people have a better idea of what was explained previously in a pitch. It's also an escape from digital work sometimes and I basically take it as an eyebreak before uploading the drawings digitally.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATING
First thing's first: I am not an influencer.
I like creating social media content, making quick videos or taking photos and most importantly, maintaining the aesthetics of a feed.
As you can see, I've managed a few accounts in the past and currently: a photography account, a takeover for my internship, a travel/experience blog account, one for my shop and personal brand @sadshrimps and my own.
I won't call myself a photographer, simply because I don't do enough photography to really be considered one. But I definitely do enjoy taking photos, editing and composing flatlays.
Another hobby in my free time, is card making!
Whether it's for a close friend or mass producing for a special ocassion, I find so much joy in creating these. I'm not sure what it's doing on my portfolio, but at least you'll know a little bit more about what I love to do.
CAT WELFARE SOCIETY
Public Relations Module in collaboration with The Cat Welfare Society (Singapore)
Our final assignment was to pitch to a real client, our idea of a public relations event. These are the 2 posters I illustrated to support the pitch.
BRIO: MAGAZINE PROJECT
Bright, Blissful, Beautiful.
We had to make a magazine for our feature writing module. A team comprising 8 people were split into different roles. I was the photo editor aka photographer. As photographer, I was tasked to take photos for all the articles and edit them accordingly to the style of our magazine as well as be the art director for the Glory Hole shoot.
However, I still played a designer role and illustrated the things they needed for certain articles and also designed the cover page of the magazine.
NPVOICES: PRELUDE V
Annual concert as part of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Art Fiesta 2015
This was the first project I took on back in 2015 when I first started my tetiary education. I designed this poster for my club and also handled the overall artistic and creative direction of the concert.
[ I wrote scripts and did voice acting as seen in my other section: WORKS]
